Google It

My son asked me a question the other day as children often do. I had no clue about the answer, so I replied that, having no previous experience in this area, we should simply ask Google. In this era of technology that we live in today, access to information is so quick and easy. Generally speaking that is. How did we even function before, without this ability to answer almost any question that popped into our heads within seconds?

Online Services

It seems when buying products or services, we can almost always refer to a company’s website when we need to find further information on something specific. Go to the FAQ page and usually there is your answer. Failing that, there might be a live chat box popping up to assist us, or we can click on the 'contact us' page to get a telephone number or email address.

Arguing with a Bot

However, quite recently while trying to order a replacement product online, I found myself querying the exact specifications. To my horror my answer was not on the FAQ page, there were no contact details, either phone or email. How frustrating! So I resorted to the live chat bot and after going around the houses for what seemed like an age and still not getting a clear answer, I gave up gracefully. But not before deciding to cancel my subscription with the company, if only I could work out how to do that!

The Old Fashioned Way

At The Chauffeur Group we pride ourselves on still being able to do things the old fashioned way. That is - over the phone. Yes, you can actually call and have a real chat with somebody who isn’t in a bot. Somebody who is trained and knowledgeable, who will aim to resolve your queries in a prompt and friendly manner, offer extra information on our services and basically give a little bit of hand holding. Sometimes that is exactly what we want.

Great People

For those who are techno friendly, of course there is also an online platform and an App to use in order to book an executive car to the airport for example. The Chauffeur Group appreciate that quite often there are times when technology is very useful in arranging transportation services.

Isn’t it comforting however, to know that great service can also be arranged directly - with great people.
