Driver Requirements
Do You Have What It Takes?
To maintain the exceptional standards our clients expect, applicants should meet the following requirements before applying.
You will need to provide us with:
your driving licence (plastic and paper parts)
your local authority badge details
completed CRB check
your National Insurance Number
a passport photograph
two forms of identification clearly showing your current address
You will need to be licensed as one of the following:
A valid UK Private Hire or Hackney Carriage Driver Licence
A PCO (TfL) Driver Licence if operating within Greater London
All licences must be valid and issued by the relevant local licensing authority
Basingstoke & Deane Private Hire
Additionally, owner drivers are required to provide:
the vehicle V5
a valid MOT
vehicle plate and insurance documentation
All owner-driver vehicles are required to be less than five years old from the date of registration.
