What Sets Us Apart

Last year we featured two of our drivers here on our blog and many of our travellers were delighted to read about them and gain a little insight into who they are and why they do what they do. To follow on from this, we wanted to feature another two of our drivers. Well why not, it is our drivers that set us apart from our competition after all!

Huge Personalities

Our drivers are provided full training when they join us and we only work with drivers who have executive cars, Mercedes E Class for example. They are security checked, fully licensed, everything you would expect from a reputable chauffeur company. But, there is something else they have, that no training can give and that is huge personalities. Time and again we read feedback from travellers telling us how interesting our drivers are, how they made the journey so much more enjoyable through engaging conversation. They aren’t just polite and empathetic, they are interested.

Recognising Our Drivers

In this second blog, we want to give our amazing drivers the recognition they deserve and give our travellers a little insight into who they are and why they do what they do:

Luis:

Luis first joined The Chauffeur Group 11 years ago, when he was first introduced to us by a friend. He really enjoyed the job, and after a while, he branched out and joined a private jet company offering chauffeuring services to some very high-profile clients.

These types of clients are extremely demanding and after a time Luis wanted more freedom and flexibility, so he got back in touch with us and we did not hesitate in taking him back on as our driver.

Luis is an excellent reader of people; he can instinctively understand the nature of the traveller and will adjust his greeting and conversation style to suit, if they want peace and quiet or to while a way the travel time with interesting conversation. Luis is full of stories of his experiences and loves to share these when he can. Marrying his conversational abilities with his addiction for driving is a perfect fit to be a driver. Luis doesn’t just drive our passengers from A to B, he wants to ensure they enjoy the experience and making a traveller smile, makes Luis’s day!

Dejan:

Dejan has driven for The Chauffeur Group for over 4 years. Originally from Serbia, he actually trained to be a lawyer at university but did not continue his studies when he moved to the UK 28 years ago. Dejan has now been a trained chauffeur for 22 years altogether and worked with a number of prestigious companies in the past. This gave him experience in driving many celebrities during his long career such as, Sean Connery, Paul McCartney and Simon Cowell.

Before moving over to us, Dejan was working for Uber, when he saw our advert and met with our Operations Director, the rest became history. Dejan is happy to be working for a professional company and enjoys his work immensely. He particularly likes the fact that he is provided his bookings in advance so he can be totally prepared for his travellers when he collects them. Most of his passengers are from our corporate client base and Dejan enjoys meeting new people and finds hearing about their experience interesting. He feels that his work gives him the opportunity to continue to learn from people and he looks forward to completing every journey.
